FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CONTACT US → What should I expect during my first meeting with Town & Country? For a new landscape project, a meeting is usually the first step. We’ll discuss the scale of your project, determine whether it requires a design, and make product recommendations. We’ll share photographs of similar projects we’ve done, too. How long do landscape projects usually take? Typically, if a landscape design drawing is required, we will present it to you about two weeks after our initial meeting. At that time you will also receive a detailed description of the project and our proposal package. If your project does not require a design drawing, we will send you our proposal about a week after the initial meeting. What’s in a Town & Country proposal package? The proposal will contain a detailed estimate for your project, references, and a copy of Town & Country terms and conditions, including any warranties on the products we recommend. When will my work begin? Our policy is to schedule projects based on receipt of a deposit. We do our best to schedule a start date within 4-6 weeks. During our busy season (typically in the spring), it may take 6-8 weeks to put your project on the calendar. Once we receive your deposit, we will notify you of your tentative start date. How long will my project take? The length of construction will depend on the exact specifications of the proposal and the size of your project. How much maintenance should I expect to put into my newly finished project? New plantings, seed, or sod require a high degree of maintenance until they are established. We will provide a detailed watering plan for this interim period. Quality constructed walkways, pavers, stairs, and the like require very little maintenance over time. What type of payment methods do Town & Country offer? Town & Country currently accepts cash or check and takes both Visa and MasterCard. ✆ 585-872-5073 “Town & Country did a very good job and James worked well with his co-workers.
